Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Client Funds > Client Accounts End of Month > View Previous Client Account EOMs.

Purpose: Provides users with access to previously generated Client Accounts End of Month (EOM) reports, including both General and Account EOM reports.

There are two types of EOM reports: general and acount-specific.
Before you can locate and view a previous EOM report via the View Previous Client Account EOMs, you must first generate the EOM report (as part of the EOM procedure). For instructions on running the EOM Procedure, please refer to this article.

Accessing Previous Client Accounts EOM Reports:

General or Account tab

General tab: Select the relevant Year to access previous General Client Accounts EOM reports, including:

Client Accounts Audit Report	Tracks matter changes, including client, matter and card actions, with detailed before-and-after snapshots to support internal audits and compliance reviews.	Date Range
Controlled Trust Accounts Listing of Accounts Report	Lists all Controlled Trust Accounts as of a specified date, with balances calculated based on either the transaction date or entry date.	As At Date

Account tab: Select the relevant Year and bank account to access previous Account Client Accounts EOM reports, including:

Report Name	Report Purpose	Report Basis
Client Accounts Journal Report	Lists all Client Account journal transfers between matters for a selected Client Account bank account over a specified period, detailing each Journal's ID, matter information, transfer reason and amount.	Date Range
Client Accounts Overdrawn	Lists transactions that resulted in a negative Client Account balance on a matter at any point within the specified period, including the transaction type, reference number, matter information and resulting balance.	Date Range
Client Accounts Trial Balance	Lists Client Account ledger account balances by matter as of a specified date for a selected bank account, with options to include matters based on balance or transaction history.	As At Date
Client Payments Cash Book	Lists Client Account payments within a specified period for a selected bank account, tracking outgoing Client funds to support reconciliation and compliance.	Date Range
Client Receipts Cash Book	Lists Client Account receipts and bank deposits within a specified period for a selected bank account, tracking incoming Client funds to support reconciliation and compliance.	Date Range

Client Accounts EOM Reports

Shows the following information:

Year: Shows the relevant year.
Month: Shows the number of months involved.
Reports: Shows the number of documents provided for each month.

Expand to show all the months and the corresponding reports for each month.

EOM reports display an 'As At Date' or a 'Date Range', depending on whether they reflect a cutoff date or a reporting period.

For an 'As At Date' report, the selected date corresponds to the final day of the EOM period.
For a 'Date Range' report, the selected date range reflects the relevant EOM period.

For example, the Controlled Trust Accounts Listing of Accounts Report is an 'As At Date' General EOM report. If the report is generated as part of the EOM procedure for May 2023, the relevant EOM period runs from 1 May to 31 May 2023 (based on your last EOM date setting). The 'As At Date' shown in the report — accessed via ‘View Previous Client Account EOMs’ — would correspond to the final day of that period, which is 31 May 2023.
