When Exporting Emails from My Matters, a New Folder Is Created on My Hard Drive for Each Email

Please see below for information on folders appearing when an email is exported from a matter:

This is a setting that can be enabled or disabled from the matter. Follow the steps below to disable this:

  1. Open the Matter.

  2. From the Details & Correspondence tab.

  3. Click the ... (ellipsis) button in the top right corner of the Matter window.

  4. Hover your mouse over Document Export.

  5. An option "Create Folders for Emails" will appear. Click this option to disable the feature.

    You will notice the tick is no longer visible when hovering your mouse over Document Export.

After you have disabled the Create Folders for Emails option, any future emails exported from Matters will no longer be exported into separate folders.
