Content Updates - November 2025

Additions and improvements across Personal Injury and Employment are available for the Republic of Ireland including:

Personal Injury

New matter folders

  1. An Injuries Resolution Board (IRB) folder has been added to all Personal Injury matter types (except Medical Negligence). Our Forms team are working hard now and over the coming months to automate the relevant forms for this folder.
  2. An Attendance at Garda Station folder has been added to the RTA matter type.
  3. I have added Court folders to each of the Personal Injury matter types. Our Forms team are working hard now and over the coming months to automate the relevant forms for these folders.

New matter cards

  1. An Injuries Resolution Board default card has been added instead of Injury Board on all Personal Injury matter types (except Medical Negligence).
  2. A Motor Insurers Bureau of Ireland default card has been added on the RTA matter type.
  3. A Health & Safety Authority non-default card has been added on the Employer's Liability matter type.
  4. An Irish Claims Board non-default card has been on the Medical Negligence matter type.

New matter standard table

An Occupational Injuries Scheme table has been added to the Employer's Liability matter type.

Updated critical dates

In the Calendar and Tasks tab there is an update from the wording 'Injury Board Confirmation Date' and 'Injury Board Authorisation Date' to the wording 'IRB Confirmation Date' and 'IRB Authorisation Date' for personal injury, employer's liability and RTA matter types. I removed the IRB dates from the medical negligence matter type as they are not relevant to this matter. 

Employment

New matter folders

  1. Both Employment matter type folders have a New WRC folder and a NEW Labour Court folder added to them. Our Forms team are working hard now and over the coming months to automate the relevant forms for these folders.
  2. A WRC eComplaint Portal - Step-by-Step User Guide has been added to the WRC folder [LL-IRE-EMPL-020]
  3. A Labour Court Appeal & Referral and Portal Guidelines has been added the Labour Court folder [LL-IRE-EMPL-021]

New matter cards

  1. A Workplace Relations Commission default card has been added to both Employment matter types.
  2. A Court and Court Details default card and table have been added to both Employment matter types.

Critical dates

The below have been added to the Employment Disputes matter type calendar and tasks tab:

  1. Complaint Submitted to WRC Date
  2. WRC Adjudication Hearing Date
  3. Appeal/Referral to Labour Court Date
  4. Labour Court Adjudication Hearing Date

Starter Letters

3 x Starter Letters have been added to the Starter Letters folder as follows:

  1. Letter to vendor's solicitors acknowledging receipt of closing documents [LC-NI-CNV-010].
  2. Letter to vendor's solicitors confirming closing of sale [LC-NI-CNV-011].
  3. Letter to vendor's solicitors confirming mortgage undertaking discharged [LC-NI-CNV-012].

AI Prompts

Conveyancing Prompt Library - 4 x AI Prompts have been added to this folder as follows:

  1. Bank Statement summaries and analysis [PT-NI-CNV-002].
  2. Source of funds summary [PT-NI-CNV-003].
  3. Summary of property searches [PT-NI-CNV-004].
  4. Contract of sale summary [PT-NI-CNV-005].

General Prompt Library - 1 x AI Prompt has been added to this folder as follows:

  1. Case chronology [PT-NI-GEN-003].

Recent poll results from our latest LEAP Ireland Webinar Content Updates & CPD Made Easy

Thank you to everyone who attended our recent Webinar on Wednesday 27 November 2025. We gained some interesting poll results about content that we would like to share with you.

Poll Question 1: Do you currently fill out the content tables in your matters on LEAP?

  • Over 50% use them.
  • 33% are not using them fully.
  • 15% are not using them at all.

Poll Question 2: Are you currently using calculated critical dates or critical dates?

  • 37% were not aware of them.
  • 60% use some of them or they are not suitable for their needs.
  • 3% use them all.

Poll Question 3: Is CPD administration a pain point for you or your firm?

  • An overwhelming 70% said that they struggle with it or they are in a rush to complete it by year end.
