Controlled Trust Accounts Listing of Accounts Report

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Client Funds > Controlled Trust Accounts > Controlled Trust Accounts Listing of Accounts

Purpose: Provides a list of Controlled Trust Accounts as of a specified End Date. The report helps ensure proper tracking of these accounts for compliance, reconciliation and auditing.

  • The calculation of account balances is based on the End Date and Run by options.

  • The report includes:

    • Active Controlled Trust Accounts, regardless of whether they have a balance or a null balance.
    • Closed accounts, if they still have a balance as of the selected End Date.

Filters:

End DateThe report captures account balances as of the specified date. 
Run ByDisplays balances based either on:.
  • Transaction Date
  • Entry Date
Group ByGroup the report by:
  • None
  • Staff Acting
  • Staff Responsible


Report Fields:

MatterThe matter number.
Matter DescriptionThe matter description.
Client NameThe client card(s).
Account NameThe Controlled Trust Accounts's name.
Sort Code & Acc. No.The Sort Code and Account Number of the Controlled Trust Account.
InstitutionThe bank which holds the Controlled Trust Account.
Balance The balance of the account at the selected date, based on entry date or transaction date.
