Controlled Trust Accounts Statement Report

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Client Funds > Controlled Trust Accounts > Controlled Trust Accounts Statement

Purpose: Provides a central hub for downloading statements of active Controlled Trust Accounts within a specified period across all matters. Statements can be generated based on either Transaction Date or Entry Date, as per user selection. The report serves as an official financial summary of the account and a formal record of transactions.

The report includes only active Controlled Trust Accounts and excludes closed ones.

Filters: 

Date Range 

Includes transactions within the specified period based on the selected Run By option:

  • Transaction Date: Captures transactions with a Transaction Date within the specified Date Range.
  • Entry Date: Captures transactions with an Entry Date within the specified Date Range.

Both dates are determined based on the transaction window.

Run ByCaptures transactions and calculates balances based on one of the following dates:
  • Transaction Date.
  • Entry Date.


Report Fields:

DateThe date of the transaction.

NOTE:
When the Transaction Date and Entry Date differs, the report will show both. The entry date will be marked with a * to distinguish from the Transaction Date. 
ReferenceThe transaction reference number.
Paid to/Received from & ReasonDisplays the Payee or Payer of the transaction, and the transaction reason.
WithdrawalBank Fees and Withdrawal transactions.
DepositInterest and Deposit transactions.
BalanceThe Controlled Trust Accounts balance.
